It’s taken me about a month for the fact that I’ve been here in Guatemala for 6 months, to actually sink in. But indeed, como pasan los dias.

Danielle and I celebrated this “aniversario” together with a weekend trip to Acul. Acul is a USAID project community from post-conflict development initiatives in the 90s, or so I’ve heard. The point is, it’s beautiful, peaceful, and has an  farm called Mil Amores where you can stay in pretty cabins with spectacular water pressure and eat good food. And so we went to Acul.

A belated cheers to our first 6 months, Danielle!
