Market forays

The day’s purchases, from an afternoon well spent at the market in Mankessim. 

Wednesdays and Saturdays are official market days in Mankessim, but the stalwart vendors remain day after day to sell their wares. On this particular Thursday I headed out in the hopes of some compelling ghanaian fabric for soon-to-be dresses. There are an endless number of amazing seamstresses who, when provided with the fabric, will make you any dress you have a picture of for about the equivalent of $4-6.
